And here the announced gallery with the Leica Summicron-M 75mm f/2 ASPH.

As mentioned, one of the advantages is the close focus distance of 0.7m which makes this lens almost to a macro lens ;-).

I just updated the Leica Summicron-M 28mm f/2 ASPH. gallery with some favorites of my recent Hungarien journey.

During the time my Leica Summicron-M 75mm f/2 ASPH. was at Solms for adjustment I got a Summarit-M 75mm f/2.5 loaner lens.

I created a gallery to show the rendering of this lens. I have to admit, that I like my Summicron more. The Summarit seems to give somewhat harsher images. The Summicron feels ’rounder’, softer. Softer not in terms of sharpness but in terms of the picture impression.

Furthermore there is the advantage of a close focus at 0.7m compared to 1m with the Summarit.
